"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Due to short sightedness, I am now having to wear glasses.
I would wear contacts, but I'm unable to due to a 'stigmatism' (whatever that is) in one of my eyes.

I have always liked chicks with glasses (they have that sexy secretary look). But do chicks avoid guys with glasses like the plague?
I've been told I look about 26 with my glasses on. Maybe that's good, maybe it's bad...I just don't know.

Your thoughts?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

clarke kent. -well, when he takes them off, and pulls his underwear over his pants.

george costanza. -....i take that back.

sorry my main. you're screwed.

On the plus side. atleast you have eyes. you'd be in an even worse situation without eyes.

I could go out without them...but unless I get up really close, I can't see a damned thing and I can't make eye contact with chicks cos I can't see their eyes.

But at least I don't have a tiny willy :D

Glasses aren't that bad. It just depends on how you present yourself. I wear glasses and I make my glasses be an asset for me. The trick is to pick out a pair you look good in, which you can do if you take a girl along with you to pick out your frames or ask the people behind the counter what they suggest (if they are pros and not just some 16 year old kids working at the store).

If you are the kind of person who parties and has this whole image/reputation of being a wild guy going, you can pick out a crazy pair of glasses which can become a conversation piece, and thus not only not get in the way but be an asset to your ability to pick up chicks.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

When I got my frames, this really hot chick in the store picked them out for me.
Sadly I was an AFC and still with my LTR back then.

It's only recently I've had to start wearing them whenever I go out, so I guess it's not so bad.
I'm just very image conscious.

MY girlfriend says she finds them sexy. As in she volunteers to say that as oposed to consoling me about an insecurity. So some women do find glasses sexy. I suppose it depends on how much a girl values intelligence in a partner.

Lets face it, they do make you look more intelligent even if they don't actually make you any more.

Thats lucky.
I may sound intelligent, but in truth, I'm a moron in disguise!
At least I get to look intelligent and complete the whole 'appearance'

Glasses also do wonders for me as a Geek Squad Agent, because people are more likely to suggest any repairs I recommend, so I can really drive that revenue! It also worked awesome in computer sales, where I could tell people they needed whatever item that we were currently pushing and got far less resistance than when some of the non-glasses wearing sales people did it.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I think you have a 'nystagmus'. that's what i have too.

There are so many kinds of glasses, I'm sure you can find a pair that either flatters your looks or is inconspicious. Besides, you'll look better when you're not squinting and bumping into things.

Dude, don't even worry about it. I wear glasses and I have no problem getting women. In fact, I prefer my glasses over contacts. Just get a nice, fashionable pair. The oval glasses are pretty classy right now - mine are taper-cornered squares. They're pretty thin. I have had plenty of girls tell me they dig guys with glasses. One said "for some reason, I have always found guys with glasses and earrings really sexy." (I also have earrings)

So it's not even worth worrying about. Just get don't get one of those big, pseudo-half-moon tortoise shell numbers like you had back in elementary school. Those make you look six.

Salut,

Wearing glasses is not a big problem (my doctor informs me that I stand a very high chance of wearing some later on in life), but more importantly it's what sort of glasses you pick that changes ppl's opinions.

Go for something that's lightweight, thin and rimless, try on a lot of pairs before you eventually pick one.

You could go emo and wear the thick black frame glasses. Girls dig that.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Your thoughts?
You must have some very weird astigmatism, because there are contact lenses for that, the so-called toric lenses. Did your optometrist give some reason why you can't order a toric contact lens for that eye?

It's the same principle as being bald or not amazingly good looking - it's all in the attitude.

Glasses can be an asset, definately. Spend a couple of hundred on a decent pair, it'll be worth it.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
