I'm writing this quicky and may not sound coherent.

I went up to a professional African/Carribbean women.

I complimented on the way she looked.

I then asked where she is going which she replied home.

She was smiling throughout the conversation.

She then proceeded to ask me a lot of questions asking for my name, what I do, where I live, more which I expanded on them etc.

I asked would she like to meet up sometime for a coffee, she said yes.

I asked for her number, she stated it and I asked her to check it.

We amicably parted ways after this.

What should I do next? What should I reply and how long should I wait?

Text/call her and set up a date. How long is irrelevant if she actually likes you.

This should be the easiest part of the process, don't overthink and overcomplicate it.

She already said she wants the date. You are golden....the only thing you can do at this point is screw things up.

The key is minimal activity, just set up the date. No excessive texting back and forth.

I am old school and still believe in waiting a couple days to contact...but as mentioned she seems to like you so you could get away with tomorrow. I also strongly believe no weekend dates unless you interest in a gal is low. Sounds like you like her.

I would text Thursday and close for a Monday evening drink date, or Monday afternoon coffee date.
