"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

So guys, when I came here I only had questions and no answers. But Today, I am able to talk to strangers in the bus, and even get their contact. So, How different is university from the bus? I know I can pick my target in bus, and show my great assertive skills by listenning and making great rapport with the other individual in just about 10 minute, So how will university fare differently?

how do you guys find a context to make approach in school environment, especially if you've never seen the other person before? I need some situation that I could use it in more formal way, not coming in as aggresive, and still instilling my confidence in other person. I am of very extravert kind, its just the lack of experience in confronting strangers is keeping me down.

examination starting soon, so is this right time to approach? lots of people are intense right now, including myself. Do I give some time off to myself, especially as exams starting this week? How inportant is self clarity? Right now I've gotta lots of questions concernning my career goals, immediate summer job, my social life, etc. it just keeps on going, should I just give myself an opportunity to breath before climbing another mountain?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Be confident, cordial and conversational (just like in other informal interactions). The one thing that you may want to be cognisant of is the amount of slang and jargon that you use when you need to make an positive, business-like impression.
