How I think the whole incident unfolded was like this: We thought we were going into her house with her mom asleep, but she wasn't, caught a glimpse of me. Her mom didn't like the looks of me and wanted me out of the house, and instead of doing it herself, I think she called 'Mark' to come over for the muscle of handle me. I don't know if Mark is a boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, or an orbiter, but her mom thought he would be the right guy to stir up the situation; she also later on handled him well later on in the situation. I think her mom told Mark that I was getting ready to fvck her daughter and that's why Mark blew up her phone and made it there in about 30 minutes.

Obviously, she was lying. If her mom is cool, why do you need to sneak in while she's sleeping and lock the bedroom door? (And on second thought, why does the girl need a lock on her bedroom door if she's living with her mom??)

At 42, you shouldn't be sneaking into a girl's bedroom past her parents lol. That's high school level stuff. You also want to control your environment as much as possible. The situation that you described was extremely dangerous and could have led to tragic results if "Mark" was even crazier than he is and had a gun.

I literally have a bar within walking distance and there are multiple bars within 3-10 minutes by Uber. This is something OP should have handled or figured out in his 30s. If you live in an area that's not conducive to this then I understand, but still this really could have been avoided.

generally a good idea. however one thing i do with girls that i get a feel won’t just come straight to my place is find out the general area where they live. and then i pick a spot near theirs. why? my philosophy is that a girl you haven’t slept yet has bare minimum investment in you so u want to make it as easy as possible to say yes to. picking a spot that makes it easy for her to say yes to (because it’s so close to her), is a easier than having her take an uber 10-20 minutes to somewhere closer to where you live. not only is it frictionless, but removes that potential stigma in her head that “he’s picking this place 20 mins away from me because he intends on inviting back to his place after this”. then on the date, you uber from the spot to ur place. only fvck up i see her was her saying her mom was cool with her bring over a guy (and maybe she is. but a guy 20+ years older than her daughter? idk bout that lol).
