"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Technically wouldn't dating down be as prevalent as dating up?

The idea of "girls only want an upgrade" doesn't make sense considering they're letting suboxone dealers nut in them and getting blacked out with drop-out thug boys. Well, low quality girls I mean.

Basically once you elevate yourself enough and increase your SMV, wouldn't you have to date down? Wouldn't every top-tier alpha be dating down anyway since all women are below him?

Is saying yes to girls that aren't 10s bad for your self-esteem?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

If your SMV is that high, you have to date down. I guess they just look at em like "fans" at that point.

Hypogamy. I think you're on to something here. There are a lot of complaints here about girls going after losers, hypogamy would explain it.

A girl might be hypogamous if she has poor self esteem, for example. She doesn't think she deserves a high value guy so she seeks out a low life that she feels comfortable with. Another phenomenon discussed here is when a girl wants to control the relationship, or have the most value in a relationship, she may want to date down in that circumstance also.

I completely agree, hypergamy does not cover every situation.

When we say "hypogamy", and guys thinking the females are dating "down"? Often enough that physically attractive female to the eye is part of a group of guys who may not be financially motivated, but were jocks or in the clique in school and they run with her. She dates guys who have made it good for themselves, but she associates and views herself of one of "them". She is a huntress. She's not dating down, she's dating her peers, the ones she affiliates with. You Mr Successful and financially well off are just a meal ticket.

Women who marry for resources historically would dumpster dive - seek out younger guys, but only because they are more likely to have healthy children with them (a huge percentage of children are not fathered by the husband). They had less resources but better genes usually.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So if I read you correctly, mrgoostuff and bigneil, you're saying that there is no situation when women date down? It's just an illusion? Can't say I agree, see my previous post.

They don't view it as "dating down"... And many times the "hot babe" has no actual real standing other than her appearance. Her "peer" group is actually what you guys consider "dating down".

"Dating down" in my world would be a business woman or lawyer dating a barely employed guy, and kissing his a$$
