Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

It depends if the feeling is mutual. If so im inclined to say it is not too soon. Either way theres nothing wrong with two friends going to the game, she probably will welcome the distraction if shes at all upset. Either shes busy or she says yes so go for it.
