"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I know you're supposed to take it slow at first. But let's say you've been dating for 4 or 5 months, is it okay to see her like almost every day?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

You did NOT fvck up by being too available. You SUCCEEDED in finding the girl that is RIGHT for you. If she REALLY loved you, there is NO way that being around you all the time would have had a negative impact on the relationship. PERIOD. It's ALWAYS better to take "risks" and filter out the chicks who AREN'T RIGHT for you. Better now than in 20 years.

There is something called balance. Lets put it this way, I see my best friend everyday because we carpool too and from school, and hang out at lunch. However, that doesn't mean that everyday after school we do something, have you own life and incorporate your girlfriend into it. Treat her like you would treat a good friend, withing remembering the commitments of a relationship.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You should spend as much time as you want with her.

This may seem like a lame answer, but it's the truth. Hang out with her when you want to, no more and no less. Don't neglect your friends and normal activites. They will hate you for it, and you'll regret it.

On the other hand, don't feel the need to make up excuses to seem "less available" to her. That kind of stuff can be helpful in the attraction phase but should not be part of a real relationship.
