I really need to improve on this. Its really difficult for me to think of what to talk about. Im not a very socialized person however i do love to have fun without thinking much of other's opinions. Im also very new at texting.

You keep a text conversation going the same way you keep a regular conversation going. When the seeds are planted, you water them. Although some people will advise against texting as they believe it kills relationships. I kinda like Muscleman's logic on this: "Texting is one of the main ways people stay in touch now, so why limit yourself?"

Anyway, when you're texting or having a conversation in general just pick up on the things they say. They might mention a trip out of town. You water that seed. i.e. "Where to?" Just don't make a habit of texting girls frequently, in that case texting does kill relationships.

yeah, i just talked to a guy about this earlier,

with a quick recap of what he said

be silly, but not self deprecating
don't ask her to do things, tell her
keep in control
don't double text

he said a lot more but those are quick tips and this guy is REALLY good at texting

^ What's up with the "double texting rule"? Read it somewhere before, but I dismissed it. I mean, personally I don't double text chicks but I don't see the harm in doing it.

Not really sure, I think it's suppose to be a value thing or to stay aloof.

I don't understand all the rules but, I'm sure as hell following them

I'll ask next time I see him for any psychology behind it

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Seems desperate as hell. Especially if you asked a question and she didn't respond. I only double-text my guy friends or platonic girls.

If you're getting irritated that's the wrong time to double text. I'll double or triple text a girl I like if I know she likes me and the texts are funny or show an exciting lifestyle.

I get what you're saying. Jericg, like LearningSlowly said if you're getting irritated it's not a smart move to double text. Be (more) in control of your emotions. When people don't text me back, I honestly could care less. But I see nothing wrong with double-texting someone (anyone; male or female) a few hours or so later to restart a conversation or just to check if they'll actually respond.

What I personally don't "approve" of is:
You (5:00PM): hey
(no response)
you (5:10PM): why won't you answer
that seems desperate as hell.
