Don Juan
I really need to improve on this. Its really difficult for me to think of what to talk about. Im not a very socialized person however i do love to have fun without thinking much of other's opinions. Im also very new at texting.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
^ What's up with the "double texting rule"? Read it somewhere before, but I dismissed it. I mean, personally I don't double text chicks but I don't see the harm in doing it.Nite said:yeah, i just talked to a guy about this earlier,
with a quick recap of what he said
be silly, but not self deprecating
don't ask her to do things, tell her
keep in control
don't double text
he said a lot more but those are quick tips and this guy is REALLY good at texting
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Seems desperate as hell. Especially if you asked a question and she didn't respond. I only double-text my guy friends or platonic girls.Eph said:^ What's up with the "double texting rule"? I get what you're saying. Jericg, like LearningSlowly said if you're getting irritated it's not a smart move to double text. Be (more) in control of your emotions. When people don't text me back, I honestly could care less. But I see nothing wrong with double-texting someone (anyone; male or female) a few hours or so later to restart a conversation or just to check if they'll actually respond.Dorchester said:Seems desperate as hell. Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
