This is a brilliant thread. Happy to see it bumped. You cannot go through life fronting. You have to pick up your gonads and get on with it. Colossus used to discuss the same thing as the ultimate shjt test or some such. He got married & is no longer here...like Atom Smasher and others.

Authenticity is what a lot of women are looking for. Women know intuitively that guys will say anything and do anything to sleep with them. A guy’s real character is often only revealed once he has slept with a girl a few times (much to the girl’s chagrin).
It has been said many times that dating is like playing on easy mode. Relationships are like playing on hard mode which is why most don’t last. Many men and women subconsciously relax, become lazy/selfish and reveal their true selves once they’ve gotten what they want (for men s*x, for women commitment). Often one or both parties end up with buyer’s remorse at this point.

Would agree if the woman is over 30.
But if she under 30, you have to lie / cheat / steal until you get her pregnant. Once she delivers a healthy baby, then you can be your true self.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
