"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

What to do? I have no car.

I met her at a beach in another province and we had a blast and exchanged info.

She lives exactly one hour away. How would you guys set this up? Or am I just suffering from stupid one-itis? She's the first HB10 I've come across that just melts whenever she sees me.

Public transport seems kinda lame if I go there... what would I say? Where would I bang her... etc. etc.

Just tell her to come here, then?

Opinions?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

if she really likes you she'll drive to wherever you are.

i met a girl once that lived two hours away and she agreed to drive to where i live to go on dates.

i don't know about a relationship though.

An hour away? By what measure? That sounds meaningless.

Is it an hour away in bumper-to-bumper traffic? Or unrestricted freeway driving?

How long would it take by bicycle?

There are no HB10's. Anything above HB9 is in your head. :)

1 hour away is nothing to come between you and a good relationship. My girlfriend lives in another county, n I drive through 3 different cities and 3 costal valleys to get to her house.

1 hr doesnt seem too long for someone from NYC. but theres public transportation here that will take you to any part of the city. not too sure if your that lucky. but if you are, then dont worry, just grab some reading material and get your a** on the train =P

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

yea, he's right. First you said she lives too far and you don't drive, so I figured you live in somewhere like Texas where there isn't much public transportation, but you say there is, so I see no problem of taking it......after all it is a HB10:cheer:

You've got stupid one-itis

You the "man" take ur azz to her.

I'm dating this guy who lives an hour and a half away. Everyother weekend he comes see's me and the others I go see him.

compromise...meet her half way for dinner. Spend the night over her house for the weekend.
