"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

There's this girl I've known for five years in college. She's always been considered snobby and never has shown much interest in me (as far as I can tell). She never initiated conversation with me, talked to me, looked at me, anything.

However, I recently saw her again at a conference this past summer for an internship we were both interested in. She recognized me, walked over, gave me a long hug, and began chatting me up. She seemed very happy to see me. This confused me as I had never seen a hint of interest on her part for many years. Then, all of a sudden, she seems to be interested in getting to know me. I exited the conversation pretty quickly. She was known as one of the hot popular rich girls so I just found it strange with the sudden thaw and everything.

We have some mutual friends, but you know how friends get, very jealous and negative sometimes. I'm not sure if I could get the scoop or not. Anyone dealt with girls who all of a sudden seem interested out of the blue?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So she's being friendly when she see's u and all of a sudden u think she's interested ?

Take it u don't get many girls. Is this the first person that has been remotely interested in u in years ?

1) She's in her 'professional state'. Meaning she's working or attending a conference at work. She's not going to snub people like she does in college.

You need some help with your mental health and self esteem, dude. You've gotten your panties in a bunch for no reason whatsoever.

Although these words can be seen as "harsh" but they speak the truth.

You are a noob who seem to have very little social intelligence. (Just by checking out your mere 8 "contributions" to the site, people can already tell it lol:crackup:) So please refrain from insulting the other more experienced members when they are actually trying to help you. Otherwise you are not going anywhere...

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
