"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Ok,
my master plan ;) for the weekend will be like this:

Getting her aroused by more-than-friendly-kino and then getting her answer on the question, if the situation is good for it.

Thx for the advice, I will report back soon.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hmmm,
not so good, now she canceled our meeting tomorrow, and this means: full ignore mode and no more love from me....

Nevertheless I have a backup plan for going out with another girl. I can't hit on this one, but she would be a good pivot anyways.

Maybe I don't get the meaning here, could you rephrase that? Normally I have no problems understanding english, but this "language" I didnt use very often.

To JSH:
Ok, thought of some touching myself (no comments as to the other meaning of this sentence ;) and I will try that with her.
As to the not giving what she wants...What exactly do you mean by this? I can't think of anything she could possibly want, that I could deny her, but my attention, and THAT I must give her, if we go out together...

I was inferring as a joke that she took it in front of you to demonstrate the beleif that she thought she was going to be raped. Calm down ;)

Anyways, if you think she's interested go for it. If you don't, then don't. If you loose her over that she wasn't worht it anyways :)

Ok, now I understand...The way you meant it was how I understood it at first, but after rereading it several times I wasn't sure anymore.

As to the girl:
I will completely ignore her from now on, and wait what she does.

It's just that...uuuhm....I'd really like to lay her ;I

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
