Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Rejection doesn't hurt. It's the attachment to outcome. Listening to Dr. Robert Glover's book, I found his recommendation on gratitude journaling to be particularly helpful. It has helped me transition from a state of scarcity to one of optimism, embracing abundance. I have a bad mental attitude toward doing social activities alone because I'm used to doing things with friends but they're married and my social circle diminished because of it. My inner monologue has been bitching at me to go out.
