help with ****y+funny

im a naturally ****y person but i am struggle with the funny an was wondering if u guys got a few ****y/funny linesw you use with success to get me goin in the right direction

If you do a search of the forums, you will find about a MILLION of them.

Canned lines don't work as real ones though. Work on it.

that is great. You are ****y yet have a problem...... with being funny.

The best advice I ever got about being funny was from a stand up comedian. It went a lil somthing like this.......

(Fade to Flashback)

"....being funny...thats easy.... to start off think of all the things you can make fun of yourself about... Find that one thing that everyone can relate to in them selfs, and use it... Take bad habits, than make a note of them. Next time you need to be funny open with one of those than turn it on sombody else."

SO IF your ****y and people know that make fun of it, make fun of it and go to extreme but in a way not to seem like you are making fun or anything it will build the suspence. Than when sombody laughs mess with them about thier laugh. etc.

start with yourself or some random event and just play off of it...

now that I tried to explain it I realize I can't explain $hit very good...

Im in a club i taqlk to the girl a lil then i hold out my hand look her straight in the eyes. Then i turn my head asif im looking around the club judging all the other guys then i say:

"your not going to get a better offer tonight"

Or when she says or does something you dont like:

"if you say/do that again i wont lick you out"

I disagree... its a large world out there and new chicks are always coming up the ranks... Not everyone has heard them...

Even if the chick hasn't heard the line before, canned lines don't come out as well. I'm saying this because I think humor in general works this way; I'm not very good at C+F.

there right its better to just see the situation and find something comical to say...... i dont see why people have trouble doing this, i think it stems from self confidence.

Just like in chess, you cant win by evaluating your play on a situation by situation basis... You must see a pattern and instinctively know what the next move is...

Canned lines are the same. When a situation presents itself, a pattern will emerge that allows you to fire of these lines that you remember. If you haven't used it many times, then obviously its not gonna sound too fresh... with practice in the field, you can pass them of as being original and ad-lib...

Canned lines will give a newbie a rocket propelled start into the world of pickups without them having to rack their brains trying to think up something they have no idea will work or not...
