"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

im tired of the lonely nights and ready to make my move.

chick that goes to my college, an average looking chick, but for some reason she glows and i hear angels singing when i see her. she knows who i am. she seen me before. i do not know her name, she doesn't know mine. i've had 2 big lecture classes with her before. she has caught me looking at her, i have caught her looking at me, but we are both too shy to do anything about it. she is very quiet and also from another country, i think portugal or brazil.

my plan:

"Can I ask you a question?"
her - um sure
"Are you seeing anyone at the moment?"
her- she could say yes or no
"I was just wondering if you would like to go out sometime. i find myself attracted to you."

what do you guys think? will that freak her out? anyone have success with this. note: she is not in any of my classes this semester. thanks.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

First, get that glow and angels sh!t out of your head. It will only mess you up. Make an approach like you would to anyone else. Talk about what was discussed in class. Then ask for her number and watch how she reacts. Don't ask if she has a boyfriend or if she is seeing anyone. Don't ASK if you can take her out, offer to take her out. Say something like: "I want to buy you a coffee at Sturbucks on Wednesday at 7:00. Can you make it?" Be confident.

Try this next time she walks by you-(keep your back straight,EYE CONTACT,look sharp and clean)
you;"Hey excuse me,I have to talk to you."
hb;(lost & confused)"Yeah whats up?"
you;"I have seen you around and you caught my eyes. So I thought I would meet you."(extend hand)

From there just talk about your classes, how long has she been there, does she like the school,IMPORTANT;find out then and there if she has a boyfriend, she will know what's going on when you ask.
