Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

What's up guys. I got a question here. There's a girl that I tried to get a date with for a while but was unsuccessful. It's not going anywhere based on "The System". But I still think this girl is really cool and my friend whos a pimp with the ladies wants her number from me. Should I give it to him?
Thanks

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

if your friend was a pimp with the ladies, tell him to ask her himself.

Nothing is creepier to a girl than a random call from someone saying "hey, my friend gave me your number". FYI.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Hold your horses there trigger.

Yes, he should be able to get his own. I also realise that you said you were unsuccessful before. My question is why haven't you moved on her or moved on entirely???

Sounds like you're still crushing her, so don't let your friend beat you to the draw. If you have given up, let her go. If you haven't given up, go for her full-force. This half-@$$ stuff ain't flying...

What do you mean go for her full force? I can't get her out on a date. Do I keep asking over and over again and getting the "I'm busy" treatment? I'm not sure how to raise her interest level in me.

Okay, I have ten minutes so I'll make this quick...

If your efforts have failed you need to sit back and take an objective look at what you've been doing that hasn't worked. You've been trying aparrently, but sporadic, hav@$$, and/or misguided efforts are never going to get you anywhere. Faint heart never won fair lady. (which is why I say go after her full force)

It sounds like you're looking at her from the outside looking in. If her IL isn't there, either you're doing something incorrectly, or you're not even romantically postioning yourself close enough to her to register as a blip on her loveRadar.

So tell you what. Kick back. Relax. Take a look at what you've been doing and you tell me what you have and haven't been doing right?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Except if she has already met you and find you attractive.
