Having trouble and mental block from online texting and dming.

As it says in the title, I am really bugged and troubled with online texting wehter be it messenger or ig or whatsapp. In real life, I am quite good and I have good game however when it comes to online stuff I am really bad with it and I usually never do it. One of the reasons is that I am quite afraid of screenshots and things like that as I know women always talk and share that stuff.
This has been really annoying lately as I have been wasting a lot of plates with holding back from messaging and waiting on an oppurtunity to engage in real life. For example:This girl from college has followed me on ig even though we never talked before and sometimes likes my stories but I could not engage on her and it's been 5 months and I am waiting for an oppurtunity to talk to her irl.
I came to this forum seeking advice from professionals and people with greater knowledge.

If you're afraid of screenshots don't write anything mean, threatening or really weird. You'll be ok.
Don't send pics or your genitals and stuff like that. Just be normal.
Texting is important nowadays, you'd better start improving that "skill".

Thanks for the tips, can you suggest how I could improve my texting game other than practice. I am really an old school dude with pretty good game in real life but low skill texting so I need a starting point.

If you are afraid of playing then don't play. Simple as that. Otherwise embrace it because it can get you laid a LOT when done right.

Texting should be used as a means to get what you want

Basically do not send long texts or talk complicated stuff. And do not send too many texts

See how the water is -> soft close ( we should grab a coffee or something together ) -> hard close ( how your schedule looks like ? ) -> go to date

And yeah, no matter how good your text game she will still made screenshots and share them with their friends. Just don’t be weird like @mikedee mentioned

Is this OLD or women you meet IRL and get their number?

Truthfully - women with high IL will make it easy for you. If it’s you who’s doing a lot of the opening text and searching for the right thing to say, it sounds like she’s not throwing the oop due to low interest…which is a natural filterer for you.

I know it’s tough to accept the fog of what’s low interest vs what’s DJing these broads out their panties, but tbh it is that simple. The secret of a good texting is knowing the signs of what to swing at. If the pitch seems tough, pivot attention to other prospects.
