"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I'm kind of freaking out about this right now. I've been going out with this girl for about 3 weeks now. I like her a lot and I know she likes me. We are in college, shes a frosh and I'm a year older. At parties we kind of hang on each, stuff like sitting on the couch with a lot of kino. Last year I was known as the crazy guy who got drunk a lot. But this summer I started working out and trying to improve my appearance in general and I toned down the drinking. I found out today that at the party we were at last night there were a lot of people talking behind my back saying that they don't understand that someone like me could be going out with her and that its like a miracle or something like that. It hurts my feelings when people say that kind of stuff. I just hope that if she likes me she just won't care what people think.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Even though it does hurt my feelings a little, like you said I got the girl and they don't. The only thing I'm really worried about all that talk coming back around to her and she'll rethink our relationship. Hopefully girls are quite as like that once they get out of high school

If she rethinks it then just let her do her thing, and keep your composure and let her go. Dont be crying and dont tell her why she should stay with you, let her do her and you do you.

But I dont think she gon dump you cuz of dat ****, but if she do she a duck as ho.

no worries.. just dont care of them since they are getting jealous of you..in fact if i were you, i would make them double crazy.. what she thinks about you is the important point.. and i dont think that she is gonna believe to them as long as you're cool with her..

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
