There is this guy in my weightlifting class, it actually seems like he's trying to be a PUA/DJ or something, he always has this ****y look on his face, wears a tank-top to the class like he's trying to show himself off, but he's not in the best shape and doesn't have muscular arms, and it just seems like he's really trying to be cool. The second day of class he introduced himself to 2/3 girls in the class, but none of the guys. I, on the other hand, tried to talk to/meet some of the guys to build a bit of status. Third day of class I hopped on to an elliptical next to one of the HB's, and got a conversation going with her as we "warmed up." It went smoothly and lasted around 5 minutes before I got off to go workout (which she seemed to mirror and also got off right as I did). The last couple of classes I've just teased her lightly, thinking about asking her out at some point.... When it isn't going to snow 6 feet over the weekend. Anyways, back to this guy... I was on the treadmill next to him and another guy, so I made a joke about how I was the only one not running, blah blah, and the guy told me that he was hungover... But it was a Tuesday, who the fvck gets drunk on a Monday night? Just giving you a better picture of what he's like. Okay, today I'm talking to the HB during class, and she says something about doing kickboxing. We're talking about that a little bit and the guy, who wasn't in our conversation, says: "I do kickboxing!" Or some sh!t, I guess he was trying to hijack the conversation or something. After he said that I paused for a second, but was surprised when the HB just ignored him, and so did I:crackup:. At the end of class I see them talking, and as the class is walking out he walks past her and say: "I'll hit you up."
I don't know what it is, but there's something about this guy that rubs me the wrong way. I'm also getting the feeling that he doesn't like me for some reason.
