good dress shirt with suit?

Alright I am planning to go to a speech and debate tournament this friday and I have my suit and dress shirt ready. But I'm wondering if my shirt color is appropriate for my black suit.

it's the color on the top of the other two. Is this fine with a black suit you think? Sorry if you think my question is stupid, but I'm just wondering if I should stick to a classic white or gray.
