Caldus
Senior Don Juan
So I've never really gone to a bar alone before. Maybe this will encourage me to pick up a girl tonight. Anybody have good tips for this sort of thing?
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
If you've got the skills, then you'll have potential for more action when going alone but you gotta be damn good. I've been going alone lately as a challenge to myself (actually, it's because my friends are pussies and won't go) and I've have some very good fortune. I've found though that you MUST go in w/ a positive attitude and keep smiling. You don't wanna look like a lonely creep. You've gotta come across as someone who is so indipendent and confident that you don't need anyone else to have a good time.Caldus said:So I've never really gone to a bar alone before. Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
If thats the case then you should give the Mystery Method a shot. Its bread and butter is about how to approach and disarm a group so you can eventually isolate your target.Turncoat said:That, or i suck at engaging groups, which is perhaps the case...but i've had massive success with the alone ones.
