"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So I am chatting with this girl over text and hanging out with her a couple times, and after this she subtly texts something about hanging out with her boyfriend. I am kind of confused because this girl shows very high interest and it seems like we hit it off pretty well aka "connected". She is still texting me and seems as though she's hanging off my every word. Any ideas on what I should do?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Women who do this often times are trying to fill an emotional need not being met by their BF. She is using you for male attention, and she'll just go home and fvck her BF. Mauser96 has shown you how to handle this.... use those exact words.

She's just using you for emotional validation. Delete her number and move onto someone else.

I agree with the above. Though, there are rare circumstances when she says "I have a boyfriend" as a way of ASD when she's planning on sleeping with you and cheating on him. If she tells you before hand that she has a boyfriend then you become a co-conspirator, as well as it being a way to rationalize to herself that "it just happened" The rationalization is that she initially told you she had a boyfriend and therefore wasn't planning on cheating on him - even though she was.

But who knows. Either way, I wouldn't pursue this one any further.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

When a woman you just started talking to that moment tells you she has a bf, it is a polite way of telling you to go away.

But in this case, where she has obviously enjoyed your attention for some time, it is a sh!t test. She is saying to you, "will you still keep giving me attention, even when you know I'm not going to give you any pvssy?"

That doesn't mean you should run away immediately. When she first brought up the bf, you should have said "Boyfriend?....Well, you had better not tell him about me." And then kiss her, touch her ass, or do something that is obviously inappropriate for a woman with a bf. If she likes it, then she is not that serious about the bf.

Could be a sh!t test, could be true. Doesn't matter. Act as if you never heard it and don't let it phase you. If you want to get it, then try and get it.
