"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm not going to jump to the conclusion she wanted you to buy her a drink. I thnk she wanted to talk to you, and the thing that stuck out, the thing that she could open with, was that you had $5 in your hand. It's similar to when I go out with my college jacket, people will go up and talk to me about it. If I wear a whte shirt and jeans and nothing else, there's nothing unique about it. If on top of that I had this wicked cool necklace or whatever, someone could approach me and say hey cool necklace.

I think that's the same thing that happened here. The fact he had $5 in his hand was her opener... something she could bring up. But she stole it and he IGNORED it "playing cool" and looked like a pushover in the process.

Then she busted his balls and again looked like a pushover. All in all it wasn't a good performance. I'm not saying she was interested in him, who knows, we will never know. But I do know he didn't handle it well. What do domestics cost $5 at this place? Expensive bar to get ****ed up!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

It's Canada man -- we have crazy sin taxes. Expensive drinks and this is a high class place so I don't think I could get away with calling her "b!tch" there like some people want me to.

Speaking from the perspective of the person who was there when the money thing happened, I can say that I think rrrrr has pretty much nailed what happened and exactly how much i screwed up.

perhaps, don't call it screwing up, it was just some girl at a bar that decided to chat you up, make a mental note not to let it happen again and forget about it (kinda contradictory i know, but you get the point)
