You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
"It's all your fault"Girl: blahblahblah..your so horny!
DOH! I swear I didn't copy your idea - you beat me to the post button. Great minds think alikesay it's all your fault and slap her a bit
Hah, say what you want about those other responses (the result of about 5 seconds of brain power), but don't accuse that response of putting a chick on a pedestal. Most chicks don't have naked pictures of themselves out on the 'net, so implying there are is a neg hit: you're implying that she's slutty."Only when I look at those naked pictures of you on the Internet"
(WEAK, you are putting her on a pedestal)

You got it wrong. What I meant to say is that you are putting her on a pedestal by talking about how much you are attracted to her. You are giving her too much power.Originally posted by GirlCrazy

no, you've got it wrong. how could you possibly think that would be putting a girl on a pedastal? the sluttiest of the top 10 percent of sluts are the ones you see online.Originally posted by Joe The Homophobe

Dude you have no idea of the situation you are in/what kind of girl it is/who is saying the C&F, that **** is not set in stone.Originally posted by Joe The Homophobe
"yeah, i just saw myself in the mirror"
NOW THAT IS ****Y AND FUNNY! :woo: (the perfect response). Make sure that when you say that you move your hand through your hair as if you were calmbing it (now that would look really C/F)

"Only when I look at those naked pictures of you on the Internet"

"Maybe if we took a cold shower together, that might help!"
(You have to say this in a C/F way to get this to work because if you sound serious it could backfire)
"Hah! You wish I was horny, you little vixen"
(dumb)
"And you're not?"
(dumb)
"Me? Horny? Why of all the scandalous things to say ... no, wait, yeah I'm horny..."
(dumb, sounds high school)
"Yeah .... and your point is?"
(dumb)
"Yes I'm horny, and if you hop in your car right now, we can be horny together..."
(saying it in a C/F way or it might backfire)
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Oh, for crap sake, stop prefacing every single post you make with "Advice/Response/insert-synonym-here/etc from a female". All that is doing is telling people NOT to read your post, because typically, women give terrible advice to men about how to deal with women you are interested in. Why? Because you have no experience dating women yourself. Being one and dating one are two different things.Originally posted by blueangel83
Advice from a girl:
To begin with, how did the initial converstation start before she told you that you're "so horny"?
If she sounded serious then you need to tone it down, she is somewhat turned off.
If she said it in a flirtatious manner then she wants you to lay the pipe already.
I actually need a little bit more info so I can tell you exactly what she is thinking.
Metal... did I ever tell you I love you?Originally posted by MetalFortress

Picked that up from a guy I used to work with. At the time he was banging half the chicks in the office - all of them hot. I agree it sounds corny, and it beats the fvck out of me why it works, but it works. What COOL guy says "you little vixen" ? wtf
I'm often wrong, but this aint one of those times. Open your mind and see that this style of neg hitting actually takes her power away and gives it to you. Again, it's situational. Neg hit the wrong chick and the wrong time and she'll cry her eyes out like you just stole her puppy. You got it wrong. What I meant to say is that you are putting her on a pedestal by talking about how much you are attracted to her. You are giving her too much power.
I don’t fully agree with this.... I know 1st hand that women can give the best advice compared to the advice a man can give u. It all depends on WHO the chick u are asking is. And the same applies for men. Some MEN will give u sh!t advice, and some will give u golden advice. Same rules apply to women. So don’t go disregarding everything a WOMAN told u because its a WOMAN that told it to you, rather look at WHAT she is saying, and then judge if u think the ADVICE is good or not.Originally posted by MetalFortress
