"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey guys. I haven't been around in a little while, and I've been doing all right, but I need some outside input on a situation at work (McDonald's).
It's a pretty standard HB showing high interest, and I've been wanting to ask her out, but I don't want to **** up my work situation.

Here's the thing: She put in her two week's notice recently (nothing to do w/ me). My idea was that I could have my cake and eat it too, by just flirting w/ her and keeping it light for two weeks, then go for her a little while after she quits. That said, I don't want to spin my wheels for too long and have her lose interest. Thoughts?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

two weeks notice? thats good for you. what I would suggest is go out and buy a movie or something and ask her the next time you see her if she would like to go to your house and watch it. invite her to go hang out. the way you need to think is if you end up f*cking up most likely you wont see her agin plus she has two more weeks at mcdonalds. try it, cause im pretty sure you wont see her again after she doesnt work there anymore. good luck I hope you get her. now next time I go to mcdonalds get me some free stuff...j/k.

You broke your promise.

My vote goes to: just ask her.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Spade---Ouch! But yeah, you're right.

Anyway, I went for it, didn't work, and after next week I don't have to see her again, so whatever. But as always, thanks for galvanizing me into action, 'twas much appreciated.

Hey, atleast you gave it a shot and don't have to wonder about the whole "what-if" thing. Even better is you probally won't see her much so no akwardness and in a few weeks prolly won't remember her.

So.....just out of curiosity what did happen?

As most of the people say, just do it. You got no reason to wait, nor there is ever any reason to wait, you see a women you want, you take her, thats how it is.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Not much...I waited until she was alone, and we weren't overly stressed, and asked her if she wanted to hang out sometime...she responded by saying she already had to hang out with 20 people this summer---a really bad blowoff, if I've ever seen one. So I spun the conversation quickly into fluff talk, and ended with a moderate amount of dignity. She's still pretty friendly, but maybe just more flirty than really interested.
