it's not like me to come on here and ask how to go about "getting" a girl, usually i come here to read the tips and give my opinion. however, there is a girl that works at the front desk at my gym and is clearly interested in me, she gives many noteable IOI's. we have had very small talk, nothing major at all, i just need a good opener or something to let her know i am also interested. the longer i wait the harder it is going to get. it is hard because sometimes there are many girls and customers at the desk, so she is busy. i thought about something like this; "hey, i never get a chance to talk to you, so why don't u take a break soon and come out and talk to me in the gym"... give me some tips.

the more you think about it the harder it becomes. If she is giving you these IOI as you say and they are real, then she won't care what you say. Imagine a girl you're interested in asking you out, would it matter what was coming out of her mouth? But what you have in mind for saying sounds pretty good to me.

I work at a gym. Next time you see her, make small talk, and either acknowledge that she is very busy at the time, or say you gotta go work out and have things to do. Then hand her a paper and TELL her to give you her email, then to write her number.

Front desk girls are used to getting hip up by all kinds of dudes. Old creepy dude, young stocker types, nerds, guys with no game, etc., so they usually won't flirt with you if there isn't some interest, because they know the chances of creating a stocker are high.
It would be more of a concern if you are trying to hook up with a girl who's a regular member.
Just ask for the number and get it going, otherwise, when you least expect it, she will no longer be working there.
