"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'm hitting on a girl, and I want her number so I can call her and we can set up a date or something at xmas break. I've got her MSN, but that's not a good idea to aks her out over msn. So what/when should I tell her? Any links or some quick answers?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Just say "Hey, I am heading out but let me have your digits so I can call you sometime."

Presto. Number.

Then wait until you feel good about it and give her a call and say "Hey, this saturday I was thinking that we could go do X. I'm thinking I'll pick you up at 7." If she is interested she will say ok or suggest an alternative.

Presto. Date.

Not that hard buddy, their aren't any magic tricks. You just have to man up and ask the question. I know it is tough putting yourself out there for rejection, but even if she rejects you it doesn't mean anything, she is one fish in a pond of many hundreds. And most of all, you have to remember it is her loss, not yours!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I (as well as many others, I'm sure) have successfully hooked up with girls by using MSN plenty of times, bro. In the early stages, I actually like it better, since it's very unassuming, and also you know she's most likely just sitting at home when she's on MSN.

Good luck, I've recently come off of # close anxiety - not approach anxiety but closing anxiety because I had a fear of risking where I currently was in relation to target. Once you close it you'll realize it's very very very simple and the pressure will subside immensly.
