There's nothing like a bonnet to help you chat up the ladies, (not sure if there is something about this anywhere else on the forum) I bought a tatty panama on which I stuck some silly pattern and when I go clubbing, I usually get at least one girl come up and ask/demand to wear it. To which i reply with something stupid like 'well I usually issue coupons for a little hat time etc.' blah blah,waffle

I think a panama works well because it's got a sophisticated feel to it and is not as common as the caps/trilby/beanies that you see all over trendie indie places in the u.k at the moment. However it looks best with longish hair as a final note.

Good tip. I've also found besides wearing hats that if you wear a tie, a lot of women have asked me if they could wear that too. The only reason I ever wear ties to parties is that I get off real late at night and I don't feel like changing.
