That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Look I'm not trying to say soreness is the ONLY indicator of a good training session, but it's a good rule of thumb. When your body is pushed into uncharted waters, you WILL get sore. And doing that is the only way to force your body to adapt.mrRuckus said:Just the very first google search result among hundreds, buddy:
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

looks fine to me....the only thing i would do is replace cable pulldowns with skull crushersRampage1 said:hey effort, I am just going to do it for 3-4 weeks to get some quick growth and then will go back on to heavy weights to shock the system.
this is how im doing it: Monday chest and back
Wednesday legs
Friday shoulders and arms
I am doing one movement for each bodypart, which is the following:
chest: flat bench
back: barbell row
legs: squat
shoulders: military press
biceps: dumbell curls
Triceps: cable pulldowns
As for the soreness topic I have felt sore in my chest the day after monday's workout. Just need to make sure I get my 6 meals in a day, though I am going to have to eat cleaner than before as I want gains to be lean this time! (my last cycle I made massive gains but also made fat gains!) P.s. i can't afford it at the minute but I am going to get some creatine an glutamine next week hopefully.
What you think of the routine for the next few weeks?
I agree with both statements. I probably shouldn't have said "will". But it is my rule of thumb that I've personally gotten results from. I like a lot of variety anyway, so it works for me.mrRuckus said:You just need to go beyond what they're comfortable doing at their current adaptation. You can still get a growth stimulus without soreness............."a rule of thumb" and saying "WILL" as an absolute contradict each other.
Right now, after a long hiatus with a herniated disc, I can 1RM bench press 255 and I won't squat any more than 225. I don't deadlift or power clean right now. In early 2006 before my back problems, I was around 285 bench, 350 squat and 200 power clean. I usually never maxed on deadlift, repped at the end with 225. 5'10", 195 lbs.kickureface said:speed dawg just curious how much do you lift?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
