Lens type can affect it too. Phone video screen grab vs. probably a real camera at the station. Your face and head can look different depending on the lens and lighting.

It's on the Media but it's on White people too. Why don't we protest, agitate, use social media to get things out like this too? Plenty of White people, armed and unarmed die from police interactions...a slightly higher percentage than Black people per police interaction actually. For all the talk about the "White community" and "White mentality" there is very little cohesion among White people, even within families. Most White people killed by cops are marginal, unemployed, drug problems, mentally ill. Most people who "matter" don't care about them even to the extent they care about marginal Black people.
WHITE people don't stand up cause those In the media and those with the billions and In the universities, who've socially engineered the Religion we all must abide by and worship at the alter of today, that is, Political Correctness, will persecute them in Many different ways (and they know it) as "heretics" burned at the stake. They can't stand it when Black people stand up with WORDS against the Real enemy (not WHITES, but anti-white whites and those who hold the money or paycheck they get IF they work for them as Anti-Whites). These particular people or tribe ALWAYS say that they are trying to improve or "make the world a better place..." but really what all they're doing is "what's best for US is BAD for everybody else," or the word Justice spelled, "Just Us," thus you have Epstein getting away and ALL the people associated with him getting away (like the British royal crown). They ALL control the media, the schools, the politicians, how we speak (they'd LOVE to control how we think and they do that but not all of us have been so brainwashed). They can do all this cause they stick together And because they are, individually, psychopaths. Our minds cannot go to the places theirs go (on a grand scale). They own/control it ALL, all the large and midcap companies, mainly via this Religion of Political Correctness. And we are certainly not allowed to talk about this pretty much anywhere. This is an extermination operation ongoing since WWII really and ironically. So it's "Just Us," not Justice and what's good for me is Bad for everybody else. Just look at their home country. No gays (married), no immigration, no marrying outside their race, no drugs, no porn, none of the filth they impose on US.

From what I understand, one of the things that Black Lives Matter (the organization, not the saying) wants is something called #Defundthepolice. Or others call it "Care, not cuffs". They want to divert money from police departments (they cost a lot of money in budgets) to social programs. My first impression when I heard that was that it was the craziest thing I ever heard. But after thinking about it a bit, maybe it's not such a bad idea. Especially if you couple it with what you suggest, decriminalizing some of the more "victimless" crimes, and let the police focus on the more serious matters. But there are times when we do need police, no matter how much some may dislike them, so I would want to see this gone about very carefully.
I think the police officers' job, what they do is impossible. So I don't want to see them all vilified, it's unfair. And there will be accidental deaths in what they do, there simply isn't any way to avoid it. So another such incident is going to happen. I don't want to see the country burned down when it does, because more people are going to get hurt and killed in the ensuing rioting than in whatever hot button incident touches it off. We can do what we can to avoid it, but a lot of those measures have already been taken. I think the real key is some sort of reform in the process that holds police accountable.
Just turn off the news and social media and then it's not a big problem
