You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Believe me, she is the queen of manipulation! But i know it is my own fault that it has come to this because I have allowed myself to be manipulated.NSUballer said:Beautiful women know to manipulate people bc of their good looks. I know its hard to just say its over after 2 years but what if u take her back and she cheats on you (who's to say she hasnt already?) or breaks up with you???
Because I'm trying to learn from my AFC mistakes and not allow myself to be manipulated anymore.NSUballer said:So if u know shes manipulating you then why are u still messin w/ her???
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
Do not go listen to that podcast, you will not like what you hear. Forget I ever mentioned it.CraigMack said:I think she is looking for your replacement and keeping you on the side while she does. She doesn't want to be the one dumped and wants to do the dumping. It hurts getting dumped but feels good to do the dumping.
Your relationship sounds pretty done to me. You sound like my buddy Supreme always talks about guys who get the girl, then become pansies and boring and then wonder why they lost their girlfriends to guys like him.
I will have to send him this post to see what advice he gives for you and maybe he will use it on his podcast.
