"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Could this be a good way? When talking you say -doesn't your boyfriend....
I think if she says that she has one (maybe she has ) , she isn't interested. Many girls say they have a BF but in this case I don't think they would BS you(like a test) because this is just a conversation. If she says no than you could say in that case we could hang sometimes? What do you think?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I would think that puts a negative perspective on you, automatically assuming she has a boyfriend. Somebody said it on here and it stuck with me. If she says she has a boyfriend, tell her that thats ok, and that you are not the jealous type! Thats a real good line imo. Most girls have them anyway, but whether they are happy with them, is a different story : )

after establishing some rapport and if I sense some interest on her part, I will ask her directly if she has a bf or if she is married. If she says no, then that is her way of giving you a shot to ask her out. If she says yes, then you got to play it by ear because I agree that many girls will say they have a bf but will exchange him like a piece of clothing if she sees something better.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
If she doesn't mention her boyfriend, she doesn't have one. ;)

Don't go probing. Assume that whatever she has, you can top it.

Good to see you're still here. Good to see you're right on!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

That's not always the case... This girl I knew a while ago who flirted with me wouldn't ever mention she has a boyfriend until one of her friends came up to me and noticed we were flirting and told me "She has a boyfriend" so then when I went up to the girl and I asked "Do you have a boyfriend?" then she finally told me "Yes"...
