"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I've noticed a lot of girls hide their true personalities until you get to know them better. Is this the ***** shield happening? Rarely will I meet a genuine personality at face value. It really annoys me since you're not getting what hoped for. They should be themselves. I'm referring to 18-20 yr old females btw.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

superficialness?

anyway its safe to assume most people are like that. it takes time to know someone. That's where rapport comes into play.

Most girls are like that.....

There are always added personality traits that you just cannot stand about her...

Some like to B!tch...some are BIG!!! flirts...some are boring, but seem fun....it's all about the surprise...In rare cases do you find someone for exactly who they are.

I've discovered that some girls are like that, while soem girls are pretty straight up.

I don't really think it's that disappointing though.. I mean, people have ego's to protect ya kno? so it's a natural way of trying to preserve their ego. Your job as a DJ is to show them that they don't have to put up a front while you're around, because you appreciate them for who they are.

Then they'll love you to no end :)

What you need to understand is that attractive girls get hit on almost every day. Mystery talks about this in his DVDs. Being generous, he says that from the age of 18 to 24, the average attractive girl has been hit on thousands of times by nice guys.

The way they get rid of a nice guy's "barrage of bore" is to act *****y.

"Hey, nice shoes"

"I have a boyfriend"

"What's your name?"

"Go away."

They don't do it because they really ARE *****es. Most girls are very nice people. The reason they do it is because IT WORKS. They would rather have boring nice guys believe that they're *****es than to have to constantly deal with them.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

it's really no different then how guys are also, with the 'hey, whats up bro' high five, sock on the shoulder ,macho guy act.
or the 'cool guy' act ,whats up..daps, whatever..i think everyone has a social face and a home face, where they kinda just lounge around.it's not a 'false' personality, it's just another way of reacting to different situations and dealing with people. imagine if 1000 girls were coming up to you all day and it felt as if they wanted something from you and somewhat ingenuine and creepy..would'nt you get creeped out also? would'nt you have to figure out a way to just get rid of them?

Is it even possible for a 18-20 year old woman to know her true personality?

Doubtful. My recent ex (22) broke up with me a few months ago to "find herself".

my ex (21) left me for a much older, wealthy, gent who she claimed she could imagine marrying/settling down with. well too bad for her, she can be the puppet housewife without knowing who she is. in such a hurry to grow up...

But anyway, some people go through life never realizing who they really are, and some do. thats life for you.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

i think that setting up strong preferences creates a strong identity, you know what you like and you know what you don't like.Strong opinions and knowing where you stand and which side you are on,you can kinda sense how people are by their preferences alone.

i call it the "salesperson".
everyone has a salesperson inside them, and after you get comfy in a relationship or get to know someone really well, they let the salesperson have the day off and you see them for what they are.
