"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Am I over reacting or is that inappropriate/disrespectful?

All male friends btw

I don't see an issue with a current GF doing this if she has met the people in person first.

An ex, yeah, that's different.. ??.. The only thing that comes to mind is if she is trying to use your friends to get potential dirt and info on you.. Maybe she still likes you? And she is hoping to see some of your posts thru your friends. Or even talk to your friends about you and see if you have a new GF and what not.

I've had buddies who's current GFs have friended me. But the minute they break up I unfriend her, and block her, out of respect to him.. Would hope your buddies would see it the same way for you.

Some friends did some didn't. Guess I know who my true friends are.

Your friends need to back off. Put the word out.
Like I said some friends instantly followed her back. Some friends ignored her friend requests. To be honest the ones that followed her back always give me a sense of jealousy when I'm doing good in life or dating hotter chicks and I can sense there joy when I went through rough times or heartbreaks. The ones that didn't add her back I have always had sence of trust and security with them.

Been there, seen that.

With that said, it might be time for an intervention with your friends; know the ones who are true friends and kick the others to the curb. And the best way to handle that business is to just go NC with them and don't answer them if they reach out to you. After a while they will get the message. Remove them from social media too. Friends will come and go, even ones you have had for many years. And friends change too. A friend 5 years ago who would have given you 3 of his 4 limbs and the shirt on his back may be a toxic PoS now.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

The land of improvement
Let me guess. This chick is the only plate you had for the last couple of months. Cause if it wasn't, you wouldn't had spend time on checking her out about the friends she added or even make a thread about it.

True

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I dunno but these little social media nuances just drive me nuts. It's because of this I just stay away from social media. I spend maybe 10 minutes on FB a week. Best thing you can do is be the pimp that passed on that piece of azz you already hit and wish your buddies a good lay. lol
