Dumbells: What weight?

I'm about 135 and obviously want to bulk up, ive read some weightlifting websites and basically they say a lot can be achieved using dumbells if you do the right exercises, so what weight of dumbells would be heavy enough for a guy of my weight to do only 5-7 reps of like suggested in diesels guide to bulking up

If u got dumbells that allow you to do 5-7 reps they`d be too light after a few weeks.....your goal will be to constantly lift more weight staying in the same rep range. Do what ultrashotgun said

For bulking, focusing on form and doing them slowly may be a better bet than just lifting as much as you can.
