I'm still debating on the xanga blog. I did the bootcamp last fall and I kind of wish I had all my entries in once place for easy access. What is it you don't like about xanga?

I don't know if anyone is doing teams. Since I don't have aim, I can't chat with anyone. What is it you want in a team mate? Are you looking for someone to follow your progress and give you feedback? I can do that.

As for posting your bootcamp stuff. I know BrotherAP is going to post the "official thread" today and we're going to have a new thread each week. I will certainly post there, even if I decide to create a blog.

Anyways, I guess since the official thread gets posted today. Bootcamp is underway.

You're damn right we are, PVSSY-EATER. I know you realize the importance of getting off this forum, off your ass, and out into the real world and actually go meet people. There's too many keyboard jockeys these days! Hopefully we'll turn at least a few of them into bonafide ladies men.

Ever Onward I posted the 'official' week 1 thread, so feel free to add to it there. It's too bad you can't get on AIM - I take it you tried the Java applets, with no success? If you're having trouble with them, it might be a pop-up blocker, and I could tell you how to get around that if you're interested.

AwNaw, if you're not feeling the blog, that's fine. I forsee diffculties if 38 people are posting field reports on the main forum all of a sudden, so it's important that the majority of people use xanga.

It is the pop up blocker that's screwing me over. On every university computer I get onto I try to turn it off. I go to "tools" and "turn off pop up blocker" that never works and then I try to add the java "website" to the list of acceptable sites on the pop up blocker settings.

Any other suggestions?

Have you checked out the f.a.q. I created for week #1? I think I've covered a lot of stuff on it and it would be cool if you would contribute.

this thread, is good for all intents and purposes, but all i see is 10 pages of getting people together and almost an entire month has gone by and i've read maybe 1 or 2 Feild Reports about events that have happend.

no more recruiting, just get to it otherwise let the thread die.

I believe there are a little less than 10 of us left and it's week 3. I'm still in it. There's definitely more than 2 people giving field reports. That much I know.

You might be a bit too late but a january 2006 boot camp sounds like a good idea.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
