Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Does a nice sense of style/good clothing really help?

I've always thought that it doesn't really make a difference as long as you're able to make a good face-to-face impression, but I've been talking to some female work colleagues lately and it seem that a good sense of style, good clothing and being well-groomed goes a long way.

Have you guys noticed a positive difference when you started actually taking more care of your appearance/what you wear?

Obviously it won't be a life-changing difference, I'm thinking more in the sense of attention it gets from women, checking you out, commenting and complimenting on what you wear, etc.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Grooming yourself definitely does. It shows girls you are willing to take the time to make yourself look better. I'm not too sure about clothes, but I'd assume the same. Personally I dress really nice but because I want to. I have a really good fashion sense and love all of that, so naturally I like to dress up as well. I've gotten lots of compliments from guys and girls on how I dress so I guess it certainly doesn't hurt me.

Yes absolutely.

I can't stand wearing a suit. I'm a street guy and a blue-collar guy and running around in a suit doesn't work for me. I feel stupid and uncomfortable. I wear suits at funerals and weddings only.

A high percentage of my one-night stand lays have come at weddings (not funerals you sickos!) so the suit must be adding to the overall impact of weddings.

I think this is a no-brainer, um, duh!

Also, teeth are huge. Floss yo's! Ever go near some dude at work who has a mouth that smells like something died in it? Yeah, he doesn't floss.

My friend-girls, many times, have commented on how teeth are almost number one.
