Dust 2 Dust...Bruce lee was a skilled groundfighter too....Gene Lebell trained him in that aspect of fighting!!!
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

NO ONE out trained Bruce Lee. He obviously has OCD tendencies with just how fanatical he was with his training.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
As for Bruce Lee, he stopped training in Kung fu because he went to America, he was training with Yip Man and Wong Shun Leung in Hong Kong, 2 fighters who's level he never came close to. In his only real fight (against a martial arts "master" Wong Jack Man) Bruce gave up because he was too tired, he tried to kill Sifu Wong and gouge out his eyes, and Wong basically kept him at bay with long kicks till Bruce quit. There are various accounts of the fight, all the neutral accounts I have read give that description, the one from Bruce's wife (who wasnt there) say that Bruce won, but I believe she is just repeating what he claimed. Bruce later declined a rematch with Sifu Wong.Originally posted by PeoplesChamp
Ever Seen the movie "Unleashed" with Jet Li. There is this scene in there where he is entered into an underground fighting competition and he is forced to fight a champion who undefeated and has been champion for something like a year. Anyway they are both set loose in this box-like ring. The first thing the champion does to intimidate Li is take a brick and break it into rubble on his head (obvious hollywood exaggeration!). Li walks up to the guy, punches him three times in the adam's apple pushing it back into his spinal cord, blood comes out the champion mouth and falls over dead.
So what's the relevance? That is how a REAL fight with someone train in Gung Fu or JKD goes. Gung Fu not Ultimate Fighting, Mia Thai, Wrestling, Grappling, or Karate or any other bull**** fighting style. It is specfically meant for street fighting/ killing someone with your bare hands a quickly and efficently as possible. It's not talking about so and so AFC who fights on tv could break your arm in 8 seconds. In those 8 seconds Lee would have already killed the guy.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
I heard he was discoved by a movie producer while competing in martial arts competition in Long Beach, Ca.Originally posted by HateOnMe
Haha Don't all legends exeed the men behind them? Were still just human. But the question I have is does Bruce Lee have any records of being in any martial arts competition?
I had not read the whole thread except up to this point so excuse me.Originally posted by Dust 2 Dust
The whole purpose of the UFC, Pride, etc., was to find out which style worked best. Now it has evolved to where you obviously have to be skilled in several areas. Bruce Lee would not be competitive by today's standard for that exact reason. That's why you don't see any Kung Fu, Karate, or Jeet Kun Do fighters in MMA.
You said Kung Fu is useless, yet San Da itself comes directly from Shaolin Kung Fu and mixes various aspect of it. Kung Fu, true Kung Fu (directly from China and its ancient aspect) has MANY grappling moves.San Da is a mixed martial art.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Well said, but I personally don't mind learning the art regardless of how bad it is, they're quite nice in stretching you and making you more a rounded fighter.Originally posted by Dust 2 Dust
Sifer, many people originally began studying in arts such as TKD and karate. i myself got a blackbelt in TKD when i was 9 years old and I will tell you from experience 80% of the techniques being taught in TKD and Karate schools are useless. That's why Bas and other fighters branched out from these fighting stlyes to become complete.
JKD doesnt involve instant death touches...Originally posted by Dust 2 Dust
PeoplesChamp, I do not believe in any fighting style which advocates "instant death touches" or any similar techniques. Bruce Lee was never able to prove any of these techniques worked and the one real fight he was ever in he got his azz kicked by Sifu Wong. Bruce came at him with one of his "eye gouge death techniques" and Sifu Wong pummeled him with leg kicks.
Yes, I believe Fung Fu is useless which is why Bruce Lee abandoned traditional Kung Fu. He himself knew it didn't work.

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
