I posted a picture in the health and fitness section. 10 months ago I underwent hydrostatic weighing which is pretty much the most accurate you can get. Go look it up, lazy weakling.

6% is cross striations in quads and lower abs veins.
Maybe at 300 lbs it is. But most people aren’t at 300 lbs. I’m ~6.5% 175 lbs. I have some lower ab veins, not the quad striations though. My main form of exercise isn’t lifting weights. It’s extremely difficult to get sub 10% off lifting alone, which is exactly what most of these doofuses think I have done. I don’t. Lifting is just supplementary to everything else. I’m an athlete. Not a weightlifter or gym bro. That’s what differentiates me from them and why I’m able to maintain myself at this level.

You can see it at lower weight. Veins in thighs too. 6.5% is 6.5%.

Don't worry what you think the number is. If you can see your abs unflexed your good. If you have a tiny skin pinch on your abs your good. Definitely if you have lower ab veins your good.

Your body mass outside of muscle is counted towards your lean body mass. And once you get sub 10, every half percent has noticeable differences. I’m not making this stuff up just for the sake of arguments, you can look up the testimonies of competitive bodybuilders on other forums.

Your body mass outside of muscle is counted towards your lean body mass. And once you get sub 10, every half percent has noticeable differences. I’m not making this stuff up just for the sake of arguments, you can look up the testimonies of competitive bodybuilders on other forums.
I'm 235 6-8% it varies. But I see quad cross striations at lower bf, but my quads are developed.

I'm not making ish up either. My point is don't worry so much about the number, worry how you look. There are pics which give rough bf %.
