"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Whats your opinion on this?

I am in a 8 month relationship and all is good but I ran into a female friend in town last week and we went for coffee to catch up just as friends! I had nothing to hide so I told my gf and she got upset and said even though she trusts me the thought of me just hanging with another woman made her feel uncomfortable. I said I feel the same if she goes out with male friends and she said that she will stop going out with male friends if I stop going out with female friends unless its part of a mixed group or we are together.

It is a big step but if she is willing to do that for me then I am for her.

Do you think this is a bad move?

How should I explain to my friends I cant see them alone any more?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I think you should be fine with her being with male friends, and even though she feels uncomfortable about it, I think you should keep being with your female friends.
Don't become too attached to eachother.

I'm in a similar position. I have a lot of female friends and many of them are young and attractive (I've been involved with some and many of them have/had a thing for me) so I generally avoid one on one meetings with them. However, I've not ditched them; I just arrange to go out with them in a group instead.

I believe if you posted a "my girlfriend goes out with a male friend" kind of thread on here, most replies would advise you to be on guard, so it's understandable your gf is uncomfortable with you going out with a female friend. If she is willing to do the same, it's a positive sign of mutual comitment.

But never ditch your friends, whether they are male or female, because a) you never know when you'll need them and b) you will become too dependent on your girlfriend.

Freinds are forever, girlfriends come and go.

You ought to be chill with her hanging out with dudes though, just don't be oblivious to things.

If you guys both trust eachother it shouldnt be a problem

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

She's just insecure that she might loose to a better female, and you are also insecure about loosing her. If you know you are not trying to cheat on your girlfriend then their is nothing to feel guilty or bad about.

She should trust you.

With her though, it's not that you don't trust her, it's that you don't trust other guys, am I right?

Women can't seem to understand this concept.
