"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Been with my gf for a little over a year in Nov and bday is during that same time also. Been living with her for a couple of months now. I love her and want to do something special for her. She is somewhat materialisitic but I cant complain because I am really materialisitic. How AFC is it to buy her something nice like jewelery or would it be better to take her out to a nice dinner go do something really cool like sky diving or take a little trip

"She's Out of Your League"

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

With the jewelry you're setting a precedent. Instead, I would take her on a trip, a cruise, sky diving, etc...

You are in a "relationship" e.g. you are living with her. The "don't spend money on her" advice is for guys who are dating a chick in the first couple of months. Things change in a LTR. (Just don't turn WUSS)
