Dude hell no don't do it.EVEN IF your friend says he's cool with it, he probably isn't he just doesn't want to seem like a douche.

What is more important to you? Your best friend or some dumb girl? There are millions of girls but best friends are hard to find.

Well here's something, today I found out Josh (my best friend) is talking to Sam...

The backstory on Sam is that I was in a love triangle, told both girls about each other, the other stayed, Sam was initially ok, then only wanted to be friends.

I told Josh and Neel to come walk and talk and Josh says "Bryce, you are not a leader", so basically I got AMOGed by my best friend at lunch.

How do I handle this? I'd rather have this answered here than start a whole new thread *****ing about it...

okay first of all... who the hell is Sam? You have to give us some more information if we are to help you out bro.

All I can say from what little I know is if that is how your best friend treats you... then you should probably change your standards in friends.

Surround yourself with positive people that lift you up, not people that try to be bigger than you by tearing you down.

Sam doesn't matter

What annoys me is that I've known Josh for a year before school started up, and I know Josh can't be taken seriously at times, he's a clown, but girls also dig him and **** him from what I know...

He doesn't tear me down, but he does undermine me, I remember once at lunch I'm quietly sitting and eating my meal because he and the 2 other guys always end up playing "skater" with their ketchup packets. Somebody cracked a joke at me and we all started laughing, but then Josh says "Bryce you know what I love about you? You take all this **** and never do anything"...

...That kinda pissed me off and made me rethink whether or not this guy is my friend anymore

Friends (and especially your best friend) > some random girl.

3 months from now she'll probably be banging another guy after you had your paws on her and chances are your friend probably won't be your best one anymore.

Weigh the value of both here.

BPH it sounds like you are non-receptive to the advice you have received to stay away from any girl that your best friend has dated. Who cares about any updates? If he is your best friend then don't go after his girlfriend, stop acting like a girl and more like a man with values.

If you don't want to keep your best friend then by all means go ahead and boink her.

Be prepared to face the consequences. In one of my social circles one of the guys dated a dude's ex and lied about it and now he's basically excluded from the group.

Well, he didn't really do you anything. He just told you the truth, and you shoudn't hate him for it. Change yourself instead, and keep your good friend. As for the chick, do as you please.

kids, kids, kids...

The answer is simple..

DON'T.

Would you let him date your ex? If you do, and say you're okay with it, trust me you won't be. You'll be feeling like a douche later.

Yeah here you just have to control yourself. It's hard, I had to resist advances from a good friend's ex too!

Another friend of mine now is dating one of my exes... I'm okay with it but it still makes things uneasy. We used to talk about girls all the time, obviously that's now taboo... makes things hard.

=> so if you want to stay friends, DONT, because you won't.
