Why didn't you explain to the owners that the supervisor let you go? Just don't place this job in your resumer, i've got fired before ( wal-mart obviously) it ain't that a big deal.

I wouldn't recommend putting a job on your resume where you were fired, especially if you've been there less than a week. Pretend it never happened.

yes... just leave it out

actually, on ur resume u should only put "highlights" of your career and recent stuff... plus 1 week? no need for putting it on a resume, dont put anything on your resume if u havent worked there for atleast 3 months

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

You're only 16. You don't even NEED to worry about a resume for a while. The type of jobs you apply for don't need a resume, they probably just need an application. i've left off jobs I only had for a week or so. No one will know.

If they fired you for something that stupid you don't want to work there anyway. If there's anything I would do different when it comes to high school jobs it's that I wouldn't have taken them so seriously. You probably live at home and don't pay any serious bills, so just have fun and make some throw around money.

I worked at a movie theatre in high school and it was all sorts of fun.

If you only worked at a certain store for a few days and try to get a job and the same store just different location would they be able to find out that you worked there before?

Actually, when I was in college I worked at one of the two decent restaurants in town (it was a farm town, so jobs were limited) and we got well over 100 applications per week. I overheard the managers mention how they weren't hiring, but some guy attached a really nice resume and he got hired anyway. By the way he was also the first guy they hired in the last 15 people. So even if it's not necessary, it's definitely impressive and can only help, as long as it's well done.

It was one of those restaurants that had 70 part-time server/students, so we pretty much had a revolving door, but the hiring manager at the time only hired hotties, I was shocked this one squeaked in, especially in a time when we weren't looking to hire.
