Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

My friend broke up with his BPD when she was acting crazy. She came over to his place just to "apologize" for everything. She started a fight, got a knife and stabbed him. I wouldn't be alone with her where she can accuse you of doing anything. Who are people going to believe? You or her? BPD's are great actors.
