Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
That's genius.I had a shytty boss, so I paid a prostitute to call his house and act as a mistress, his wife left him.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Same here, but who cares. We are both young and should be focusing on our careers, then starting a family.T Money said:I have intimacy issues. Relationships have never worked out for me, they always end up with the girl losing interest.
Same here!!!! i'm freakin crazy....johnmich said:when a girl comes on to me i get scared and push her away, and i think its cos im worried about what people'll say.
Stupid but im fixing it.
~sex at age 5, my god, but it sounded like something kids do when they dont know what it means.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Yeah they defenitely come on to me. I don't ever PUSH anything unless they are willing. I'm the kind of guy that waits for her to make the first move, then I take it from there.Got a question for you T-Money.
Do you find that chicks come on to you more now? Rather than you persuing them... in intimate connections?
Wondering if your young experience set up a frame of such in your mind, and now it still plays itself out?

There is an alpha in our class. He's the dominant one, the powerful personality type and I envy him. Actually, I rarely envy anyone, but I do envy him and it decreases my self-esteem and the ability to enjoy myself when he's around (which becomes a problem when he's in my class). I feel like a hater.
I noticed this thread is not going to be "therapy", but someone with similar experince, please help.
Damn, I feel like a wimp by writing this![]()
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
