Remember Syria only disposed of their chemical weapons stockpiles AFTER the entire world reacted harshly at that abomination and Russia had to cut a deal with the UN to that effect.

Additionally, weaponry can be bought on the black market or even stolen during a civil war, so we still do not know who staged the attack even if it absolutely occurred.

It's more then likely to have happened, this was early on in the civil war. I remembered pictures of the aftermath splashed all over the news while I was in Jakarta and Indonesian ministers denouncing the atrocities, this coming from a non aligned Muslim majority country says something. 01.They can draw the big military powers into this conflict to get rid of Assad.

02.The West had MUCH more to gain from a chemical attack.. They get to over throw Assad and put in place a Puppet government, exactly like they did in Iraq, Libiya.

Assad has the LEAST to gain, apart from getting bombed into the stone age, by western powers!

Leaders, to avoid being attacked, often cannot take on media driven assertions head on.

The power and bias of media across the world becomes more clear with each day.

I am nearly at the point of having to see it to believe it. Even then, seeing video or hearing recordings is not necessarily good enough either, Ex: The Zimmerman/Trayvon edited recording by NBC.

Maybe people died of a chemical exposure, however I would not even say "attack" as that automatically drives numerous assumptions which we know nothing about.

Having said all of that, maybe there was a chemical attack, however I am far, far less likely to believe it was Assad as he had the most to lose and such a silly move would only serve the MIC and the fake news media assets controlled by it.

Assad had the most to lose because it would only bring in foreign forces against him.

In 2012-2013, Assad was was already losing so much ground that there was no need for any western alliances invasion, the uprising by the mostly Sunni's rebels were everywhere (70%-80% of the population are Sunni's). The contention that Assad was winning then is false.

The West was looking for a reason to enter and oust Assad, and even stated that they would go in if "chemical weapons" were used.

The West had no tactical reason to enter the civil war in 2013 as the rebels were already gaining ground by themselves, town by town, city by city. As such your point doesn't make much tactical sense.

This is what happened as can be seen;

When it was reasonably assumed that Assad's secular government would soon fall, the Russians and Iranians entered the civil war with soldiers, advance weaponry and advance intelligence gathering capabilities.

Plus we were covertly arming the rebels, and the media even referred to "Aleppo falling" when Assad recaptured it. Clear indication on who the media and Western Government was supporting.

Yes the western media and the US govt is biased towards Assad, Russia and Iran, even way back before the civil war. There's nothing special about it. Is there something extraordinary about this that I've missed ?

The US is not only arming but also providing intelligence to the Syrian Kurds as a bulwark against other anti Assad Sunni forces.

Looking at this angle I still don't see your point but I will be open to your ideas.
