I hear alot of about reducing your calories will help drop you body fat %, but how do you count calories for things that you buy at school. Like for lunch, you buy some chicken or something, how do you count calories for stuff like that. They never tell you these things.

I'm pretty sure you can request it or make up a rough estimation of your own.

For example:

6 oz chicken ~= 32 g protein, 4 oz fat

1 g protein = 4 cal
1 g fat = 9 cal

(32 x 4) + (4 x9) = ___

one can also use www.fitday.com

www.fitday.com

Take a look at that, they'll have options such as "medium, chicken breast, boneless, skin not eaten" and virtually any other food you can imagine. I'd recommend buying FitDay PC - I've got it, and it's helped immeasurably.

I wouldn't be too anal about counting calories at school mate.. it's all about constant monitoring and adjustment, without having to get particularly mathematical about it.

How many times do you eat at school everyday anyway?
