Anyway, who cares thats some over analyzing . I use hun, babe, baby, whatever the fvck I feel like calling any girl lol. My trick- dont use it in a serious tone. That is most likely what you did so shes like "ohemgee wtf is going on here?". Use it if you want, use it in a non serious tone.:moon:

'Babe', 'Love', 'Sweet thing' are just corny names and not only that, they sound so condescending it's unbelievable.

What are you on about? I don't use these names for women, because I find them cringeworthy, it has nothing to do with what women want and do not want. Some women like these pet names and other women do not. I don't like them myself, that's why I won't use them. If I know a person's name, I'll call them by their name.Down Low said:

The situation is we're in grad school together and we flirt back and forth. It's our first year, we're together a lot in at school, she always tries to find me and sit next to me in the library, I asked her out once she said she was busy, so that was a flag, haven't really asked her out for a date since, I was going to once exams are over as my act because then they'll be no excuses. Since we've gone to get food a few times, she'll always hook me up hw, bring me food etc. She's pretty attractive, and I'm not naive, I'm she has plenty of guys trying to get at her, and she's not my girl so she can live a life of her own, but she always reverts back to me. I'm just trying to figure this one out because I actually like her more than my other plates, so I would be down to continue a slow play, but there's no reason to do that if it's going nowhere. That's why I went with the babe to reaffirm that I'm not looking to be a friend, and if that's all this is then I'm out. I had done it a few times and didn't get this response.
