Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Haha, i was expecting to read a more indepth report of the event itself, summat like the old porno stories out of razzle!I got all the usual have you got a girlfriend lines and stuff like that but managed to get through okay
That’s enough anyway, back to bootcamp!!
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You live in the Phillipines? thats awesome - coz it rains non stop here in England lol
Good work on the Hi count! Remember that those people who laugh or ignore you are simply one of 3 things:
1. AFRAID
2. SHY
3. IGNORANT
You and I and the rest of the DJ's are neither - we are men!
Sarge On...
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
The thing I've learned mostly about eye contact here besides the fact that generally people are afraid to return it, is that it does feel kind of off to just give eye contact and not say anything. If you are giving eye contact to people, open up and say something as simple as hi. 9 times out of 10, you'll get a hi back and maybe even get an interesting conversation out of it.Originally posted by Tkay
I've been doing this EC stuff for a while now, and I have some questions about particular situations.
* A girl sitting, waiting for her bus. I look her straight in the eyes, but I *FORGET* to smile. She keeps following me with her eyes, and I do as well. She actually looks UP while I walk her by.
* A girl sitting in the bus, a few seats in front of me, facing towards me. I had to get out, and I look her in the eyes. She keeps her eyes locked as well.
While I pass her I smile, and she says something, but I have my MP3 player on at the time, so I didn't hear what.
Maybe it was "Hi", maybe it was "wtf u looking at weirdo".
* Another bus story, same situation, different girl. I keep looking at her ALOT, and I believe she returned EC alot too. IOI? Dunno. I look her in the eyes and smile, she does this fakesmily thing and looks away again.
So my question. Every so often I feel people get freaked out, or don't feel comfortable when I make/maintain EC. What part am I doing wrong? Shouldn't I keep EC? I feel looking away when having EC is a sign of being submissive, which isn't good.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
